All the requirements have been submitted to MOHE and awaiting the feedback as per the accreditation process.

Are the Postgraduate degrees currently being recognized by the American Dental Association?

American Dental Association does not accredit to date any programs outside the US territories; however, once the accreditation is received from the MOHE UAE,Submitting for the ADA accreditation would start.

Yes there are. Scholarships will be granted on merit and need basis.

Payment will be made by semester (Half tuition and fees each semester) similar to Boston University US model.

Would it be possible to submit the application before taking the TOEFL exam? |

Yes, as long as the TOEFL results are submitted to the Institute by the end of December 07.

If the applicant baccalaureate study is in English, is it still needed to undertake the TOEFL exam? |
| A2: |
Yes. Applicants whose native language is not English must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). TOEFL score requirement: internet-based TOEFL (iBT) minimum 85; OR computer TOEFL minimum 213; OR written TOEFL minimum 550.

Is it possible to take the IELTS exam instead of the TOEFL exam? |

Yes, the IELTS exam is a newer exam developed primarily to determine English language proficiency for academic institutions. The IELTS range would be 6.5-7.

| Applying for more than one program |

Is it possible to apply for more than one program? |
| A: |
Yes; however a separate application form must be filed with separate application fees for each additional program. |

What is the application deadline? |
| A: |
The admissions deadline has been extended from October 15 to November 30, 2007. Your application form and fee must be received by this date. The remainder of your documents including letters of reference, transcripts etc. must be received by December 15, 2007.

The Admissions Committee will be reviewing completed applications and inviting individuals for an interview in January.

Is allowed for the student to join the course for certain duration of time and then continue the course in the US and get the certificate from there?

US post-graduate programs do not accept transfers from other schools. The resident has to finish his combined program CAGS-Master's at the Institute in order to Graduate.

After completing the program duration at BU Dental Dubai, does the applicant still need to apply for the American board exam to be able to practice in the US?

To practice in the US, you must graduate from a US accredited DMD Program and take the National & State Board exams.

The candidates who are accepted would be offered support services from the Government Services Office in Dubai Healthcare City.
