Our Programs
Pediatric Dentistry
The pediatric medicine rotation encompasses hospital and community-based practices. The program includes a research project and successful completion of the three-year program will result in a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in Pediatric Dentistry as well as a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) in Pediatric Dentistry.
- Our postdoctoral program in pediatric dentistry prepares dentists to provide comprehensive preventive and therapeutic oral health care to infants, children, and adolescents, including patients with special health care needs.
- We offer a strong core curriculum in biomedical sciences, with rotations in anesthesia, emergency room, and pediatric medicine. You will receive an excellent balance of clinical experience, didactic course work, and research. We provide training in hospital-based dental practices and the management of special needs children receiving dental rehabilitation under general anesthesia. Graduates are qualified to pursue careers in private practice, teaching, and research.
